Objective

NORD Software Consulting offers IT consulting and development services in the area of application- and data integration.

Our primary expertise is in the area of REST Web Services. We have been actively involved in Web architecture since 2003 and are among the early proponents of the use of REST in an enterprise IT context.

REST's recognition as a suitable architectural style for decentralized enterprise application development has grown over the last years and there is a fundamental understanding of the technological benefits such as simplicity and scalability. However, the economical differences between the open Web and the enterprise often create the impression that essential aspects pertaining to enterprise systems are not properly addressed by REST.

Our objective is to put Web Architecture into enterprise IT context and to show our clients how to address the issues that are not covered by existing best practices and specifications.

Experience

REST's recognition has only grown during the last years and naturally we have not been fully occupied with REST-related projects.

Instead, we have been working in a wide variety of industry projects, predominantly in the area of content managemet, Web application development and business intelligence.
